It is easy to forget the importance of this special holiday, and Gwinnett has some pretty amazing events lined up so we don’t forget who we are celebrating Memorial Day Weekend! Stone Mountain Memorial Day Weekend: 5/24- 5/27
Stone Mountain Park
- Head over to Stone Mountain Park for a weekend full of sights, respect, and remembrance! This weekend is dedicated to the soldiers who fought for our country! Active and veteran members will receive a ticket for a free attraction, as well as a family discount. Spend the weekend basking in the great outdoors, enjoy live music, and finish it with a spectacular light show!
Red, White, Bluegrass & Bach: 5/24- 7PM- 9:30PM
Suwanee- Town Center
- Spend your Memorial Day in Gwinett celebrating those who dedicated their lives to our freedom! Town Center is hosting an event to honor all military personnel, featuring food trucks, and things to do, and will have a special musical tribute to our veterans! Pop in to see a special guest!
Memorial Day Service: 5/27- 11:30AM-1PM
Peachtree Corners- Town Green
- Bring the family for this celebration of service. Among lots of activities, there will be an obstacle course for the kids, aged 9-18. Take a chance at army-crawling your way through! See registration and info here!
31st Annual Memorial Day Parade: 5/70- 10AM
Dacula
- Join the community and locals for this annual parade celebrating Memorial Day in Gwinnett! Military personnel will be thanked and honored during this event, enjoy the parade, and spend the day eating, shopping, and spending time with the ones who dedicated their lives for us!
Memorial Day Remembrance: 5/27- 11:30AM-1PM
Norcross- Thrasher Park
- Head over to Norcross for this celebration of our military heroes, and all the ones who gave their lives for our country! Families will come together and admire the dedication and hard work of our soldiers!
Memorial Day Ceremony: 5/31- 1:00PM
Lawrenceville- Gwinnett Fallen Heroes Memorial
- Join the community for this melancholy memorial for our soldiers. Locals can come experience the memorial in person or watch it televised at 7:30PM on TVGwinnett.

Splash Bash: 5/25- 12PM- 3PM
Lilburn City Park
- Bring the kiddos for this summer extravaganza! Local families will gather to celebrate the opening of the Splash Pad (5/18) and will be enjoying it all summer. There will be a DJ for the kids as well as food vendors to keep all tummies full!
Farmers Market: 5/18- 9AM-12PM *One of our favorite Spring Events*
Snellville- City Hall Parking Lot
- Start your Saturday mornings browsing through fresh fruits and veggies! Head over Every other Saturday until May to be a part of your local Gwinnett farmers market!
Concert in the Park: 5/18 – 7PM
Grayson Park
- Bring the whole family for a magical night under the stars watching your favorite film! Be sure to bring chairs or blankets to stay cozy during the movie! (Movie is TBD)
